Tortoise and Hare Race Mishap

A doodle tortoise and a doodle hare are racing but the hare has tied its own shoelaces together mid-victory-dance in front of a crowd and is now hopping frantically trying to maintain its lead, the tortoise a distant speck on the horizon making no adjustments whatsoever to its pace, not because it has learned anything from history but because it simply wasn't watching and doesn't know the hare is in trouble, the crowd on both sides split between those pointing at the hare and those pointing at the tortoise, nobody helping anyone”
